Welcome to the TFR blog. This is to serve two purposes:

1) Dump some thoughts onto the interweb-thingamy just-in-case some one finds it of interest

2) Keep a record or what I've done/doing/forgotten!

I'll look at allowing responses to my blogs later on, so if anyone reads this site and has something interesting to say, other than:

"Look naked ladies at this URL: http://catchavirus.com/stupid/"

... then it's very welcome!

Please: Don't take anything I say here seriously. It's not here to offend, but if it does then walk away. Please keep in mind that we all have our personal opinions and someone somewhere will always be offended by them, no matter how moderate they are. Maybe this time, it's you!

Well, what to write, huh? My first entry into a blog which I'm hoping will at times be interesting, at times be dull.. and hopefully a few times where it's a bit thin on the ground!

I've been buying some music recently and it's been a long time coming from listening to 1980-90-00's guff for the last couple of years as 'that's all I had'. Part of this inspiration is due to my new car having an iPod connection. I have an iPod, but I can't really say I've used it a great deal in the last few years due to either being in a car (without socket), jogging (there the iPod 4g isn't suitable) or at home, where I've been streaming music from my little network storage box, or playing the original CD via the Ps3.

So, the Ps3 died... flashing-red-light-of-death, which is the Ps3 version of the red-ring-of-death that Xbox 360's suffer from. Being a man, I'm holding on to it in the hope it'll fix itsellf while collecting dust. Sony must be kidding when they said the Ps3 technology was 'good for 10 years', it's been 2-3 years and it's dead. No matter how 'good' the technology is, it's frigin' useless if it dies before it's obsolete!

With the Ps3 dead, I've had to dust off the iPod as my only source to push music into the front room amp. Soon after dusting off the iPod, I discovered it was full of music that no one with any sound mind has listened to for years.

Old before my time? Hell no, just been happy to get old gracefully and stick to what I know, I guess. Things have changed and I've woken from my slumber, so time to rediscover music and with that, discovering a whole new generation of artists, artists I might add my Mum has been listening to for years...!

So, the recent list of artists I've brought include:
- Plan B - only one play so far, some great tunes, clearly some filler.
- Cee Lo Green - again, one play, but with that voice he could read the alphabet and I'd still love it!
- Tinie Tempah - been out jogging to this, great album, but seems to fade away towards the end. The first half is awesome though, so worth it as a whole.
- Mumford & Sons - cracking album, a group that knows how to play instruments and sees life from a different view.

But I've also been listening to some of Claires CDs
- Eminem - my original jogging album (Recovery) and a corker!
- Adele - well, two albums really 19 and 21. Both pretty good, but I haven't had the chance to listen in full. Lovely natural voice!

Anyway, better get on with other things.. until next time!

Re: Ohh, I could pee myself...
Hmm, wonder if this feedback works? (this is Rcihard testing the software, not the REAL Mr Blobby. I could only hope of such glamour and stardom coming to my little pokey site!)
